Bairon et ses environs is a French commune with 1,041 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the canton of Vouziers and the arrondissement of the same name .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by merging the previous municipalities of Le Chesne , Louvergny and Les Alleux . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . The administrative headquarters are in Le Chesne.

geography
The community is located around 25 kilometers southwest of downtown Sedan . Neighboring communities are:
- Sauville in the northeast,
- Tannay and Les Petites-Armoises in the east,
- Belleville-et-Châtillon-sur-Bar in the southeast,
- Quatre-Champs in the south,
- Voncq and Montgon in the west,
- Lametz and Marquigny in the northwest.
The Canal des Ardennes crosses the municipality.
