The District of Le Mans-Ouest was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Le Mans , in the Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire . Nelly Heuzé ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2001 to 2015 .

In the area of the canton of Le Mans-Ouest, the inland port of Le Mans, the tallest building in the department and the media library were located. The Ardriers district is the largest quarter in the canton.
The canton was in the center of the Sarthe department. It bordered in the west on the canton Allonnes, in the north on the canton Le Mans-Nord-Ouest, in the east on the cantons Le Mans-Center and Le Mans-Ville-Est and in the south on the canton Le Mans-Sud-Ouest.
