The District of La Suze-sur-Sarthe is a French constituency in the district La Fleche , in Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is La Suze-sur-Sarthe . Gérard Saudubray ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 1988 . Until the administrative reform of February 15, 2006, the canton belonged to the Arrondissement of Le Mans .

Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in March 2015, the canton of La Suze-sur-Sarthe consisted of the twelve municipalities of Chemiré-le-Gaudin , Étival-lès-le-Mans , Fercé-sur-Sarthe , Fillé , Guécélard and La Suze-sur -Sarthe , Louplande , Parigné-le-Pôlin , Roézé-sur-Sarthe , Souligné-Flacé , Spay and Voivres-lès-le-Mans . Its layout corresponded to an area of 189.82 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than today, namely 7231.
