The District of Le Mans-Ville-Est was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Le Mans , in the Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire . Jacqueline Pedoya ( PS ) was the last representative in the Department's General Council from 2001 to 2015 .

geography

The canton was in the center of the Sarthe department. It bordered the canton of Le Mans-Ouest to the west, the canton of Le Mans-Center to the north, the canton of Le Mans-Est-Campagne to the east and south-east and the canton of Le Mans-Sud-Ouest to the southwest.

Communities

The canton consisted of the districts Gare Sud, Jaurès, Miroir, Sables d'Or, Sablons-Est and Sablons-Ouest of the city of Le Mans .

The canton of Le Mans-Ville-Est was created when the cantons in the Le Mans region were reorganized in 1982.
