Vårby gård is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Vårby district of Huddinge municipality . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 4,000 commuters get on and off here.
The station was put into operation on October 1, 1972, when the section of Röda linjen between Vårberg and Fittja was inaugurated. The platforms are above ground in the cut. The station is located between the stations Vårberg and Masmo . It is about twelve kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
