Erwin Tragatsch

Erwin Tragatsch (born  February 2, 1916 in Zwittau ; † December 6, 1984 in Bielefeld ) was a Czechoslovak motorcycle journalist and internationally renowned technical historian in the motorcycle field . He was the first editor-in-chief of the automobile and motorcycle chronicle and published more than 20 books on motorcycles. His best-known work is the motorcycle encyclopedia (All motorcycles 1894 to today), which was also available in an English and a Spanish version. His articles have been published in the magazine Motorrad und Oldtimer Markt . A track racing machine with a JAP engine is known from Tragatsch .
