Uri Gordon

Uri Gordon (born August 30, 1976 in Israel ) is an anarchist theorist and activist. He is a lecturer at Loughborough University and previously taught at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in Ketura , a kibbutz north of Eilat .

Uri Gordon did his doctorate in Oxford on anarchist politics, at the beginning of the 21st century stayed mainly in Great Britain and his homeland Israel and was involved in various other places in the movement critical of globalization . He worked in networks such as Indymedia , Peoples Global Action and Anarchists Against the Wall . In addition to his main activities as a book author and lecturer, Gordon has also published in media such as Haaretz and the Jerusalem Post .

Uri Gordon advocates a new, heterogeneous, bioregionalist , feminist and action-oriented grassroots anarchism.
