Florentia was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Fabbrica di Automobili Florentia from Florence started producing automobiles in 1903. From 1906 boat engines were also manufactured. Production ended in 1912.

In the beginning there was the two-cylinder model 10 HP based on its own design. After 1905, models were manufactured under license from Rochet-Schneider . In 1905 the four-cylinder models 16 HP and 24 HP appeared . In 1906 the 18/22 HP model with a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4400 cm³ was added. In 1907 the largest 40/50 HP models appeared with a four-cylinder engine and 9900 cm³ displacement and a six-cylinder model with 6600 cm³ displacement.

A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Museo dell'Automobile Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia in Turin .
