Dual e Turconi was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Milan-based company started producing automobiles in 1899. The brand name was Dual-Turconi . In 1901 the company exhibited a vehicle at the Turin Motor Show . In the same year, production ended after only a few copies had been made.

The company manufactured tricycles and four-wheeled small cars using many imported components. The Ideal model had a single cylinder engine with 3 HP or 3.5 HP power, which was mounted in the front of the vehicle. The engine drove the rear axle without differential via belts. The transmission had two gears. The design-related maximum speed was specified as 30 km / h. From 1901 chain drive was used. A vehicle from this manufacturer proved its reliability on a long-distance journey from Milan to Paris and back.
