Giuseppe Tito Ricordi was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Giuseppe Tito Ricordi founded in 1890 on Via Quintino Sella 5 in Milan , the company and started the import of engines of Benz & Cie. From 1898 on, automobiles were also made. The brand name was Ricordi . The company also sold Decauville , De Dietrich and De Dion-Bouton automobiles . After the death of Giuseppe Tito Ricordi in 1902, his son Massimo Ricordi took over the company. The company was dissolved around 1905. In 1905 Massimo Ricordi founded the Società Italiana Costruzione Automobili Ricordi-Molinari .

The company manufactured vehicles based on the Benz model. Vehicles with two to 14 seats were offered. The vehicles had single and two-cylinder engines that developed between 0.5 hp and 9 hp. However, only four vehicles with gasoline engines were built. There was also a steam car .
