Società Faccioli Ferro Rampone , previously Ing. A. Faccioli & C. and Società Ing. Aristide Faccioli , was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Aristide Faccioli had already received a patent for a gasoline engine in 1891 . From 1898 to 1899 he was technical director at Ceirano Giovanni Battista & C. and then technical director at Fiat . In 1901 he gave up the post. In 1902, together with his partners Ambrogio and Angelo Crosio, he founded the company Ing. A. Faccioli & C. in Turin . At first, engines for automobiles and boats were created . In 1905, the company and the Quagliotti car garage had a stand at the Turin Motor Show , where the first vehicles were presented. In 1906 the company name was changed to Società Ing.Aristide Faccioli . In the same year the liquidation and a new establishment as Società Faccioli Ferro Rampone followed . Until the dissolution in 1908, only coolers were made . In 1908 Aristide Faccioli moved to Società Ligure Piemontese Automobili .

vehicles

In 1905, the company manufactured the 24/50 HP model alongside the 12 HP and 16 HP passenger car models . This was an omnibus with 20 seats. After the first name change, the models 9 HP with a single-cylinder engine and 12 HP with a four-cylinder engine were on offer.
