Bender e Martiny was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Turin-based company started producing automobiles in 1898. The brand names were initially Bender & Martiny , from 1900 Perfecta . Production ended in 1903. Carlo Mantovani, who was previously Technical Director, took over the company and made Stabilimento Meccanico Carlo Mantovani out of it .
vehicles
The first model was a license version of the German Orient Express . A single-cylinder engine of Bergmann drove over straps on the rear axle. From 1900, more modern vehicles with built-in engines from De Dion-Bouton and Gaillardet , which developed between 3 and 6 hp .
