Marchand was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Orio & Marchand company from Piacenza began producing automobiles in 1898. In 1900 it was renamed Fratelli Marchand and in 1907 it was renamed Marchand & Dufaux . Production ended in 1909.
vehicles
The models up to 1902 were created under a license from Decauville and had a two-cylinder engine in the rear. From 1902 own models with front engine were presented. The 8 H , 10 HP , 12 HP , 16 HP and 20 H models had two-cylinder engines. In 1904 the four-cylinder model 12/16 HP appeared . In 1906, the four-cylinder models 10/14 HP , 18/22 HP , 28/35 HP and the six-cylinder model 50/60 HP followed .
A vehicle of this brand belongs to the collection of the Museo dell'Automobile Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia in Turin .
