Officine Scirea was an Italian manufacturer of aircraft engines and automobiles .
Company history
Antonio Scirea founded the company for the production of aircraft engines in Milan in 1910 . In 1914 the production of automobiles began for a short time. The brand name was Scirea . In 1924, production was resumed at the new company headquarters in Monza . Production ended in 1927.
vehicles
The first 8/10 HP model appeared in 1914. The four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1131 cm³ developed 14 HP . The design-related maximum speed was given as 70 km / h. The transmission had three gears.
The Tipo Unico and Sport models with a four-speed gearbox followed in 1924 . The engines of these models developed 22 HP or 35 HP from a displacement of 1539 cm³ and enabled a top speed of 90 km / h or 105 km / h.
