Officine Meccanica Giuseppe Meldi was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles and sidecars .
Company history
Giuseppe Meldi founded the company in 1921 and began producing sidecars and automobiles. The brand name was Meldi . In 1933 the production of automobiles ended, which amounted to only twelve copies. The sidecars were built until 1953.
Automobiles
The automotive industry uses it was cyclecars . The basis was a model by Della Ferrera . For the drive were air-cooled V-2 engines of Della Ferrera with 1,000 cc displacement and four-cylinder engines of Chapuis-Dornier 750 cc and Citroën with 855 cc capacity available. The vehicles offered either space for two or four people.
