Società Automobili Veltro was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Giuseppe Coda founded the automobile production company in Turin in 1920 . The brand name was Veltro . In the same year, production ended after only a few copies had been made. Diatto took over the company, the construction plans, some unfinished chassis and hired Giuseppe Coda as technical director .

The company manufactured chassis that were designed for purchased engines of the 2-liter class. Body manufacturers made the bodies.

Diatto used the construction plans and the adopted chassis in part for their Tipo 20 .
