The Società TAU was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Pietro Scaglione founded the company in Turin in 1924 as a successor to Rubino and began producing automobiles. The brand name was TAU . In 1926 production ended after around 100 copies were made.

On offer were the Tipo 95 and the Tipo 90 sports car , which were based on Rubino models, but with different engines. Both had a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2297 cm³ . The Tipo 95 had a T-head engine that made 45 hp . The engine of the Tipo 90 had an overhead camshaft and developed 50 hp. The design-related maximum speed was given as 100 or 120 km / h. The transmission of both models had four gears.
