Elka was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company imported vehicle components and manufactured complete vehicles from them. The parts came from the manufacturer Laurin & Klement , L & K for short , which was then based in Austria-Hungary . Elka was chosen as the brand name . Production lasted from 1912 to 1914.
Races
The vehicles were also used in car races. The Italian Lucca achieved sixth place on an Elka at the 1914 Targa Florio .
