Cornelius Kornfeld

Cornelius Kornfeld (born April 8, 1918 in Berlin ) is a German film editor, film critic , director and writer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Kornfeld took acting lessons and was trained by Hanns Korngiebel at RIAS Berlin as a speaker and assistant director. From 1947 he worked for the RIAS as a speaker and director, from 1949 also as a reporter and author for the NWDR in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne. Kornfeld's editorial specialty was film. He worked as a film critic and conducted numerous interviews with prominent filmmakers under the acronym "Ko-Co". Kornfeld directed the radio programs Der Film der Woche , Coming soon in this theater and Our film magazine for the SFB . In addition, Kornfeld was also active as a voice actor.
