Grupo Corpo is a Brazilian dance and ballet company . The group performs internationally and is considered by music critics to be the embodiment of the Brazilian. They are known for their sophisticated choreography of modern dance and ballet .
history
Grupo Corpo was founded in 1975 in Belo Horizonte by Paulo Pederneiras. It is an ensemble for contemporary dance . They went through several changes in style and structure throughout their history. Brazilian-based dance and music remained the common thread. Her first ballet Maria Maria was performed from 1976 to 1982, in Brazil, but also in 14 other countries.
