Guangzhou uprising
Guangzhou uprising ( 廣州 起義 / 广州 起义 , Guangzhou qiyi ) is ambiguous. It denotes:
- the 1895 by leading representatives of the Xingzhonghui ("Society for the Renewal of China") - Sun Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen), Lu Haodong , Zheng Shiliang and others. a. - led uprising, the first Guangzhou uprising ( 第 一次 广州 起义 , Di-yi ci Guangzhou qiyi ), see Guangzhou uprising (1895)
- the uprising to overthrow the Qing Dynasty ( 黄花岗 起义 , Huanghuagang qiyi ), led by representatives of the Tongmenghui ("Society of the (Revolutionary) Alliance") on April 27, 1911 , see Huanghuagang uprising
