Guaviyú del Arapey , also known as Guabiyú de Arapey , is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the northern part of Salto Department in sector 7 . The closest settlements are Pueblo Ruso and Cuchilla de Guaviyú in the northeast, Fernández in the southeast and Pueblo Cayetano in the southwest. East of the village rises the del Guaviyú , a left-hand tributary of the Río Arapey Chico, which forms the department border a few kilometers north, and the de Albornoz , a right-hand tributary of the Río Arapey Grande, which runs a few kilometers south .
