Cuchilla de Guaviyú is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the northern part of Salto Department in sector 7 . Cuchilla de Guaviyú is close to the northern border to the neighboring Artigas , which forms the Arapey Chico river there . Closest settlements are Pueblo Ruso and Guaviyú del Arapey in the southwest, Fernández in the southeast and Sarandí del Arapey in the east.
