Guayabal is a village in the Venezuelan state of Guárico . It is the administrative seat of the district of San Gerónimo de Guayabal and the Parroquia Guayabal. It has 11,000 inhabitants. Guayabal was founded at the end of 1749 by the priest Tomas Bernardo de Castro. The Guamos tribe used to live in this region.
