Gudrun Fey (born November 30, 1943 in Opole ) is a German speaker , rhetoric trainer , non-fiction author and entrepreneur .

Life

After training to be an actor in Hamburg, Fey studied philosophy, linguistics and business administration at the University of Stuttgart. She wrote her dissertation on the subject of the ethical dilemma of rhetoric in the theory of antiquity and modern times . Since 1974 she has been working as a professional rhetoric and communication trainer. In German-speaking countries, she is considered a pioneer in this professional field: cross-thematic as a woman and as a trainer of special leadership and communication seminars for women. a. worked in the Association of Business and Professional Women .

From 1992 to 1996 she was lead speaker at the American seminar provider CareerTrack. From 1997 to 12/2017 she was the managing partner of study & train GmbH.

She is in demand as a specialist on the topics of rhetoric, communication and conflict techniques and is sometimes referred to as the grande dame of rhetoric . Her book Convincing Without Factual Arguments was widely discussed in the non-fiction and business sectors.

Her particular focus is rhetoric and success for women, with her publications often being run by relevant associations and organizations.
