Guenter Seidel
Guenter H. Seidel (* 23. September 1960 in fishing in the Allgäu ) is a US -American Dressage German origin and a three-time Olympic bronze medalist.
Career
Seidel was born in Germany and started riding there. Even before he even started in riding competitions, he worked as a riding instructor and trainer for dressage horses. After visiting California in 1985, he settled there permanently and became an American citizen.
Seidel won bronze with the dressage team in three Olympic competitions for the United States: 1996 on Graf George , 2000 on Foltaire and 2004 on Aragon . He also took part in all three games in the individual dressage competitions, his best placement being eighth in 1996. He also won team silver at the 1995 Pan American Games and the 2002 World Equestrian Games .
