Guido Zoeller

Guido Zoeller (born July 15, 1962 ) is a German bank manager.

Life

Guido Zoeller studied law and economics in Passau and Bonn and passed the second state examination in Munich. From 1990 he worked in various positions at Commerzbank, most recently as Senior Manager in the Corporate Finance department in London. After positions at the American Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch / Bank of America, where he was a Managing Director member of the German Executive Committee in the Investment Banking division, he moved to Société Générale in April 2010 . There he was initially in charge of key account management for Germany, Austria and the German-speaking part of Switzerland. With effect from July 1, 2012, he was also appointed Chief Country Officer for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in Germany and was responsible for the bank's investment banking activities in Germany.

Since January 1, 2014, Guido Zoeller, as Group Country Head Germany & Austria, has been responsible for the entire activities of Société Générale in Germany and Austria with over 3,500 employees. At the same time he was appointed to the Bank's Group General Management Committee in Paris.

Memberships

Guido Zoeller is deputy chairman of the Association of Foreign Banks in Germany and a member of the board of trustees of the German Sports Aid Foundation . He is also a member of the supervisory boards of BDK Bank German Motor Vehicle Industry GmbH, GEFA Bank GmbH and ALD AutoLeasing D GmbH.
