A rubber car is a toy car that was mostly made from vinyl between 1960 and 1980.

Rubber cars were sold in large numbers and had the advantage that they were cheap, sturdy and did not damage furniture when they were played. The most important manufacturers for the German market were " Tomte Laerdal " from Norway, "Galanite" from Sweden and the German brands "Stelco" and "Vinyl Line". But there were many other manufacturers around the world. Most of the cars were made in 1:43 scale .
