Gunild Lattmann-Kretschmer

Gunild Lattmann-Kretschmer (born July 24, 1936 in Potsdam ) is a German director and politician (SED / PDS). From 1994 to 2004 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony .

Life

As the daughter of the former general Martin Lattmann , she studied after graduating from high school in 1959 at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig . From 1959 to 1964 she was dramaturge at the theater of the young generation in Dresden and from 1965 to 1969 at the municipal theaters in Karl-Marx-Stadt. Then she was chief dramaturge at the Dresden State Operetta until 1976. Since 1976 Lattmann-Kretschmer was the artistic director of the theater of the young generation in Dresden.

Lattmann-Kretschmer joined the SED in 1959 and became a member of the PDS in 1990. From 1990 to 1994 she was a city councilor in Dresden in the PDS action group. In 1994 she entered the Saxon state parliament via the PDS state list, to which she also belonged in the third electoral term until 2004. She was the cultural policy spokeswoman for the PDS parliamentary group.
