Guntheim
Guntheim is a desert in the northeastern district of Walldorf (to Mörfelden-Walldorf ) in Hesse .
The place was first mentioned in 1304 as villa Guntheim . He belonged to Kurmainz . There was also a separate Gunthof nearby that belonged to the Isenburg County . He came to Guntheim in the 15th century through the division of inheritance , the border ditch still exists on the edge of the Gundwiesen. Previously there was an important border station here at the intersection of Aschaffenburger Strasse and Kelsterbacher Weg. In 1647 the place became desolate, the Gunthof (today: Gundhof ) persists. From 1770 it is documented as an inn. From 1816, the Walldorf Waldensians cultivated the associated arable land. The farm itself is still a popular excursion restaurant today.
