Gunther Rathgeber

Gunther Rathgeber (born September 10, 1940 ) is a German badminton player .

Career

Gunther Rathgeber qualified through a victory at the southern German individual championships for the subsequent national title fights, where he was able to get third in doubles. With the team of MTV Munich 1879 he was also team champion in the same year. In 1963 and 1967 he won two more medals at German individual championships.

In 1973 he was awarded the DBV badge of honor. In the 1980s he was chairman of the Badminton Regional Association in Berlin.
