Gustav Rolin

Gustav Rolin (* 1863 ; † 1937 ) was an Austrian Romanist of Bohemian origin.

Life

Rolin earned his doctorate in 1887/1888 under Jules Cornu at the Karl Ferdinand University in Prague with the work Analogie dans le développement de l'article partitif en français and became professor of Romance philology there. Together with Wendelin Foerster , he edited the Old French Library series . In 1933 he retired. Erhard Preiziger was one of his students .
