Salbke-Kreuzhorst manor district

The Salbke-Kreuzhorst manor district was an independent manor district in the Prussian province of Saxony .

It lay south of Magdeburg and comprised areas on both sides of the Elbe in the area of ​​today's Magdeburg districts of Salbke and Kreuzhorst . Historically, the manor district emerged from the Salbke monastery . Its name was the Salbke manor district . In 1895 there were 58 inhabitants in the manor district belonging to the Wanzleben district. On April 1, 1903, the part located west of the Elbe, in the locality of Salbke, was incorporated into the municipality of Salbke. The eastern part, the Kreuzhorst forest area, was retained as the Salbke estate . For 1905 the manor district is listed as uninhabited. On July 1, 1909, the estate district was reclassified. It was removed from the Wanzleben district and incorporated into the Jerichow I district. At the same time, the district was renamed the Salbke-Kreuzhorst estate . On December 1, 1928, the manor district was dissolved and incorporated into the city of Magdeburg.
