Härnestad is a small village belonging to the Swedish municipality of Kristianstad in the southern Swedish province of Skåne län . It has fewer than 50 inhabitants (as of 2005).

Yngsjö lies east of Härnestad . The Helge å flows south of the village and divides here into the estuary arms of the northeastern Åhus and Yngsjö. The area around the village is part of the Pulken-Yngsjö nature reserve . In the southern area of ​​Härnestad there is a handicapped-accessible bird observation tower, in the vicinity of which the nature reserve is explained by display boards.
