Håkan Södergren (yacht designer)
Håkan Södergren (* 1943 ) is a Swedish yacht designer. In 1972 he founded the company Håkan Södergren Yacht Design in Stockholm . He drew both motor and sailing yachts, both for series production and for one-offs. His models were mainly built and sold in the Scandinavian region. So far, he has drawn more than 200 different models.
Many of his sailboats are strikingly narrow, fast, and yet versatile.
After constructing motor boats in the USA for a few years, he returned to Sweden and constructed various new sailing boats. He was also involved in the development of the Paralympic 2.4mR class .
