Hòn Bà , also called Lady Islet or Lady Island , is a Vietnamese island in the South China Sea about 200 meters off the coast near Vũng Tau . The island belongs to the province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tau . Hòn Bà is a tidal island that is connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land when the tide is low . The island is known for its Buddhist temple .
The island measures around 130 meters in length and is a maximum of 90 meters wide, and has an area of around 0.9 hectares.
