Croissant wrapping machine
A croissant winding machine or croissant winding machine is a technical tool for forming dough .
In the professional bakery, specialized croissant wrapping machines are used to form croissants (parisette, braided strands), pretzel sticks, croissants, butter croissants, Kornspitz dough or even to wrap pretzels . The rolled-out dough or dough strings are placed on a belt that runs over several rollers and winds the dough through several deflections. The machines usually have a long-molding table or return table to several finished dough to drop, and usually have a protective guard .
The working width is between 30 and 90 centimeters. Doughs up to a thickness of about one centimeter can be processed.
