The Høgslund / Traugott-Olsen 2G is a school glider from the Danish designers Knud Høgslund and Frits Traugott-Olsen.
history
The Høgslund / Traugott-Olsen 2G is one of the few two-seat school gliders. The machine, which was kept very simple and made of wood, was built between 1946 and 1950. Since two copies are still airworthy today, the machine is a popular guest at classic car meetings.
construction
The 2G is a very simple glider with a two-part structure with an Edmund-Schneider profile without a tensioning tower , which is supported by V-struts. The tail consists of a narrow stoffbespanntem tail boom in a lattice construction with abgestrebtem and with a trim tab provided tailplane .
