A girdle is a piece of clothing used to attach suspenders . This type of attachment has the advantage that the leg veins are not additionally constricted in the event of venous problems. Compression stockings are available with a special approach for fastening with hip belts. In everyday language, the term is partly as a term for garter belt or falsely girdles used.
