Hürü Meryem Kök
Hürü Meryem Kök (* 1969 in Southeast Anatolia , Turkey ) is a German radio journalist .
Kök studied political science , history and cultural studies at the University of Hamburg . She is a Master of Science for International Politics from the London School of Oriental and African Studies. As an author, she is a freelancer for ARD radio programs .
2008 received Kok, which came at the age of five years after Germany, for their SWR - Feature My first word was Chocolate - How do I as a guest worker child learned German (2007) the media prize Civis . The jury praised the contribution on language acquisition by children of Turkish origin as a "feature that is outstanding in terms of both content and form".
