Individual evidence

  1. ^ Tilmann Althaus: A brown dwarf as a reference star. For around 18 years, a team of researchers observed the star HD 4747, which is orbited by a brown dwarf. From this, the researchers were able to derive important properties of the companion, which are suitable for directly checking the current theories on the development of this class of celestial bodies.
