Santiago Ciganda , full name Santiago Ciganda Forni , (born January 16, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall offensive player Ciganda first played in youth football in 2011 at Nacional Montevideo in the Quinta División. In the following two years he was active with the "Bolsos" in the team of the Cuarta División. In 2013, he moved to River Plate Montevideo within the city , where he initially belonged to the teams in the Cuarta División (U19) and the Reserve (Formativas) in the Tercera División that year. For the reserve he also played beyond the end of the year until 2015. In the first division team, he made his debut in the Apertura 2015 in the 4-0 home win against Club Atlético Peñarol on September 27, 2015 in the Primera División , when he was coached by Juan Ramón Carrasco Martín Alaníz came on in the 77th minute . In the 2015/16 season, he made eleven first division matches (one goal). At the end of July 2016, he moved to the second division club Deportivo Maldonado . In the 2016 season he played there six times (two goals).
