The HK ATEK Kiev ( Ukrainian ХК АТЕК Київ ) is a Ukrainian hockey club from Kiev , which was founded in 1994 and since 2015 again at the highest ice hockey league Ukraine, Wyschtscha Liha , participates. The club plays its home games in the ATEK sports complex , which can seat 500 spectators.
history
The club was founded in 1994, started playing in the top division in 1995 and was runner-up in Ukraine straight away. In 2007 ATEK won the Ukrainian championship before the club stopped playing in 2009.
In 2015 the club returned and won the second championship title in the club's history in the shortened 2015 season .
