HMS Defender
Eight ships in the British Royal Navy were named HMS Defender .
- HMS Defender (1797) , a gun brig with 12 guns launched in 1797. It was scrapped in 1802.
- HMS Defender (1804) , a 14-cannon gun brig , launched in 1804. It was scrapped in 1809.
- HMS Defender (1809) , a logger having 8 guns, the 1809 French logger Bon Marcel ran from the pile and the end of 1809 by the HMS Royalist (1807) was captured. It was sold in 1814.
- HMS Defender (1883) , a torpedo boat launched in 1883. It was sold in 1900.
- HMS Defender (1911) , a destroyer of Acheron class , which in 1911 was launched. It was sold in 1921.
- HMS Defender (H07) , a destroyer of the D-Class , which was launched in 1932. It was sunk on June 11, 1941 by a German Junkers Ju 88 of Lehrgeschwader 1 by a close hit.
- HMS Defender (D114) , a destroyer of the Daring class (1949) , which in 1950 was launched and was scrapped 1,972th
- HMS Defender (D36) , a destroyer of Daring-class (2006) , which was launched in 2009.
