HMS Imogene FC
The HMS Imogen FC is a former sports club from Istanbul at the time of the Ottoman Empire and a founding member of the İstanbul Futbol Ligi .
HMS Imogene FC was founded in 1904 by the crew of the ship HMS Imogene . They played from 1904 to 1909 in the İstanbul Futbol Ligi , which was considered the most prestigious league in Turkey. The club became first champions in the league's first season . In the following years, however, they were unable to repeat the success. The club was most recently based in Papazın Çayırı , today's Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadı .
