HTML Tidy is a software that helps invalid HTML - Tags to detect and correct these errors by removing or inserting the missing tags. The program was developed by Dave Raggett ( W3C ) from the late 1990s , and later it became a SourceForge project. The source code is written in ISO-C and is under the W3C license.
