history

In 1936 Christian Häusler founded the Haeusler locksmith's shop in Dornach, Switzerland. Haeusler's export activities began in 1952 with the delivery of a sheet metal bending machine to the Netherlands. The first Haeusler machine was delivered overseas in 1955. The second Haeusler production plant was built in Rheinfelden-Herten, Germany, in 1958. A new production facility with headquarters in Duggingen, Switzerland, was built in 1978. After the death of the company founder, his son Jörg Häusler took over the management in 1980. In 2006 Haeusler AG, Duggingen won the Northwestern Switzerland Entrepreneurship Award announced by the Swiss Venture Club. The Haeusler Holding was created in 2007 from the merger of Haeusler AG Duggingen and Haeusler GmbH Rheinfelden-Herten. In the same year, Camille Häusler and Stephan Neumann, the third Häusler generation, joined the management. The company received the Kantonalbank Prize 2012 in recognition of its manufacturer of machines and production systems for metalworking, assembly and welding, which is characterized by its pursuit of innovative concepts and products.
