In January 2016 the appointment was canceled in the same year and the end of the hageha was declared at the same time .

history

After the Pirmasens trade fair, which is geared towards the shoe industry, had looked for new ways to utilize the site due to the closure of many shoe businesses in the city, the idea of a consumer fair was born in 1953, at which the Palatinate companies were to present their products. The trade fair prevailed after the first event in autumn 1954 and was held for the 20th time in October 2008 with 59,000 visitors. After a realignment and downsizing of the trade fair, 33,000 visitors came in October 2010. After the organizer of the 2010 trade fair - Mattfeldt & Sänger Marketing und Messe AG - initially canceled the 2012 event due to the commitment to fewer exhibitors, the event was transferred to Das AgenturHaus GmbH , which also holds trade fairs such as “fishing & hunting” in Pirmasens. and takes care of the "Kulinaria". As planned, the fair took place from October 31 to November 4, 2012 and two years later from October 29 to November 2, 2014.

In January 2016, the city of Pirmasens and Das AgenturHaus jointly declared that the fair had been canceled in autumn 2016 because the [...] necessary investments to create the appropriate infrastructure were not economically viable to a sufficient degree . There is a realignment in the event year 2017, which requires appropriate preparation ; a new name for the fair is also being sought.
