The village of Hainstetten is a district of Freudenberg (Upper Palatinate) and the highest village in the Amberg-Sulzbach district . Here the district road AS19 meets the state road St2399.
The summit of the Rotbühl with the Amberg transmitter and the cross-country skiing center, which is operated by SC Monte Kaolino Hirschau , is also close to the village .
history
The first settlement of Hainstetten goes back to the 9th century and goes back to the time of expansion after the first conquest by the Bavarians. This is indicated by the ending -stetten. The prefix Hain is probably derived from the personal name Huno.
