The Halkın Yükselişi Partisi (HYP) (“Party for the Rise of the People”) is a political party in Turkey.
The party was founded in 2005 by Yaşar Nuri Öztürk after he left the CHP . It sees itself as a party that is committed to Kemalist and social democratic values. It does not receive any state funding for political parties and is financed exclusively from membership fees.
